Frontier Days samples the past while looking toward the future, contemplating the history of the Western United States and reconciling fiction, reality, past, present, and future.

"Frontier Days- Sarita" considers the fictional portrayal of Indigenous American freedom fighters in Mexico by Raquel Welch in the film Sarita alongside real historical references to Indigenous freedom fighters in the Dakotas. Frontier Days projects a sonic meditation on the struggle for freedom from the colonial sovereignty that haunts the Americas. As a reflection of the history of the country we currently inhabit, we are thinking back, dreaming of a more equitable future, and navigating the present.
